Lessons/Classes Resume Monday 11/4

Hi Students,
I hope you are all recovering well from the past week's challenges. We will resume our regular schedule on Monday 11/4. If you are unable to attend for any reason just cancel in the online portal like normal. I will be extra flexible with workload this week so those who need the distraction of a challenge can forge ahead and those who need to relax and play can.
If your child is experiencing difficult emotional or behavioral responses to the stress of fire/evacuation and you would like to touch base ahead of time via text, email, or by setting up a phone appointment I am happy to do so.
I'll be in touch soon with extra makeup days as well as our schedule for the Spring Session! My review of my rough draft schedule was interrupted mid-percolation so I want to take time this weekend to ensure it best serves each student's needs.

Classes Cancelled

Dear Students,
All classes are cancelled while the evacuations are in effect. I will be in touch to let you know when classes will resume. Extra makeup days will be added to the schedule once we reopen. Stay safe! We are not in an evacuation zone and still have power; if we can help please do not hesitate to get in touch!

Power Outages

Classes ARE happening this week as scheduled!
We currently still have power, and we plan to continue to hold classes even during an outage for students who would like to attend. If you would prefer to skip this week, please either:
(1) mark your absence in the online portal (if 24+ hours in advance), or
(2) text/email (if less than 24hrs, or anytime you have only text service but not internet) and I will update your attendence status manually.
Once you have been marked absent, the system gives you makeup credit to use for our weekly Friday 5pm makeup class. You can sign up for a makeup class any week between now and the end of our fall session in mid December. Let me know if you have any questions!
